yes indeed. one of the more epic moments of my life. now it's not like backstage as in standing right there next to the band while they perform, but instead it was backstage as in a VIP Lounge where the bands go to interact with the VIPs, get drunk, sign autographs, that kinda shit.

the VIP pass was to the Mayhem show. i flew down to phoenix to go see it. the thing is, on disturbed1.com there was this thing that 30 people could sign up to get vip passes to any mayhem show, but only 30 and you had to get the limited edition cd set. i did, but by the time i logged on all 30 for every state was full. i finally decided i was gonna fly down to phoenix arizona to go see the show, and i just happened to log on a week before the show and somebody had left the vip party for whatever reason. without even blinking i clicked and filled the newly opened spot. so there you have it. my friend and i ended up in the VIP party by complete accident.

as long as they stuck around. the VIP passes didn't effect my seats, i was in row 150. not real close but not far. at least i wasn't on the lawn past row 350. when they played inside the fire people were lighting shirts, sox, pants, garbage, on fire! there were 5 huge bon fires going and huge fire hoses were stationed above the venue and they shot hundred foot streams of water to put out the fires, but they just kept comin.

oh well at least u got to meet them. but you could only meet them if they hung around? my seats were good too. the conert i went to had no crazy bom fires. lol. and yea was asked to the pit 4 slipknot. so that was a pretty good view...as long as no one's head was in the way. but mosh pits are scary! D: i went through 3 to get to the 2nd row! XD

in the end, everything meant something...so in the end i hope you enjoyed everything
